朝陽初昇(Sunrise)

本曲為bA大調，分為四個段落，第一個段落主題為”寧靜夜”，描述一個小城寧靜夜晚的狀態，小城裡只有些許浪貓、浪狗…等動物在四處尋找食物的騷動，全曲以弱的低音管開始演奏，至中弱，伴隨著些許騷動，最後又轉為由低音管演奏表達寧靜的弱低音。
第二段是”醒了”，表達一個小男孩，在天亮的時候醒來，那種興奮地迎接新的一天到來的感受，所以節奏較快，忙著刷牙、洗臉、穿衣…等。
第三段是主題”朝陽”，描述從黑夜當中升起的太陽，光亮慢慢地照亮整個城市，驅走黑暗，城市中的人們也開始一天的生活，段落表達希望的感受。
第四段是”海邊戲水”描述小男孩在海邊戲水的景況，速度較快，男孩快樂的在海邊來回穿梭，快速的音群也表達水的流動。
 
(This piece, in A-flat major, is divided into four sections. The first section, themed "Quiet Night," describes the tranquility of a small town at night, with only a few stray cats and dogs causing a disturbance as they search for food. The piece begins with a soft bassoon, progressing to a mezzo-piano with slight commotion, before finally returning to a quiet, soft bassoon accompaniment.
 
The second section, "Awakening," expresses a young boy waking at dawn, his excitement at the arrival of a new day. The tempo is faster, depicting him busy brushing his teeth, washing his face, and getting dressed.
 
The third section, themed "Sunrise," describes the sun rising from the darkness, its light slowly illuminating the city and dispelling the darkness. The people in the city begin their day, and this section expresses a sense of hope.
 
The fourth section, "Playing in the Water," depicts a young boy playing in the water at the beach. The tempo is fast, showing the boy happily splashing around on the shore, and the rapid passages convey the flow of the water.)
